Getting Started
Install the Extension
Click "Add to Chrome" on the Chrome Web Store page. No account needed.
Open Your Profile
Click the JobJet icon in your browser toolbar, then click "Edit Profile" to open the full profile editor.
Fill In Your Information
Enter your personal info, work history, education, skills, and references. This only needs to be done once.
Visit a Job Application
Go to any company career page or job board application form.
Click Auto-Fill
Click the JobJet icon and hit "Auto-Fill". Your information will be populated automatically.

How do I install JobJet?
Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome". The extension will install automatically. No account or email required.
Is JobJet free?
Yes! The free tier includes 20 auto-fills per month, which resets on the first of each month. This is plenty for most active job seekers. We plan to offer a Pro tier with unlimited fills in the future.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your information. Your data literally cannot leave your computer.
What job sites does JobJet work with?
JobJet works on virtually any website with form fields, including:
- Company career pages
- Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, and other ATS platforms
- LinkedIn Easy Apply (some fields)
- Indeed applications
- Any standard HTML form
What if a field doesn't fill correctly?
Try the Manual Map feature:
- Click the JobJet icon
- Select "Manual Map"
- Click on the field you want to fill
- Choose the data type from the popup menu
If fields consistently don't fill on a particular site, please report it using the contact form below.
Can I use JobJet on multiple computers?
Yes! Export your profile as a JSON file from one computer:
- Open the Profile Editor
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click "Export Profile"
Then import it on another computer using the "Import Profile" button.
How do I edit my saved information?
Click the JobJet icon in your toolbar, then click "Edit Profile". This opens the full profile editor where you can update any of your information. Changes are saved automatically.
What are eligibility questions?
Many job applications ask about work authorization, visa status, background checks, and similar topics. JobJet can auto-fill these if you set them up in the "Eligibility" section of your profile.
What is the EEO section?
EEO stands for Equal Employment Opportunity. Some applications ask for demographic information (gender, ethnicity, veteran status) for compliance purposes. This section is optional — you can leave it blank if you prefer.
How do I delete all my data?
Open the Profile Editor, scroll to the bottom, and click "Clear All Data". This permanently removes all your saved information from your browser. You can also uninstall the extension, which removes all data.
Does JobJet work on Firefox or Safari?
Currently, JobJet is only available for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, etc.). Firefox and Safari versions may be available in the future.
Why does JobJet need access to all websites?
Job applications exist on thousands of different company websites. To fill forms on any career page you visit, JobJet needs broad host permissions. The extension only activates when you explicitly click the Auto-Fill button — it doesn't run in the background or access pages automatically.
